RESTORE Council Releases Draft FPL and It Includes the Strategic Conservation Assessment Proposal!

Big news from the RESTORE Council: they released the Draft Initial Funded Priorities List (draft FPL) for public comment.  Among the $140 million in projects selected is the ~$1.9 million "Strategic Assessment of Gulf Coast Landscapes" proposal that was submitted through DOI.  LCCs figure prominently in the conservation design work outlined in this proposal - serving as the catalyst for development of two decision support tools to help guide strategic investments in land conservation across the Gulf.  The public comment period will be open through September 28th and a series of public meetings are being held across the Gulf.  Dates and locations are outlined in the RESTORE Council's press release.  DOI also has a press release on their website.
