New Report Evaluates 20th Century Climate Models for the Southeast U.S.: A new report shares the work of Southeast Climate Science Center supported researchers on the evaluation and downscaling of climate models for the southeastern U.S. The report describes how researchers compared the simulations produced by 41 global climate models to observation-based datasets for the southeastern U.S. Models were considered high performing if they were able to closely predict observed characteristics of regional climate.
