The Gulf of Mexico Alliance has released their November newsletter, noting that November was a big month for restoration efforts in the Gulf. On November 17, the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation announced the award of nearly $100 million dollars for new restoration projects on the Gulf Coast as part of their Gulf Environmental Benefit Fund.
