Bureau of Indian Affairs announces 2015 adaptation and coastal management funding

The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) has awarded more than $11M to federally-recognized Tribes and Alaska Native Villages for climate adaptation and coastal planning and related travel support. These projects include education and training initiatives, climate change adaptation planning workshops, and partnerships aimed at incorporating Traditional Ecological Knowledge into climate action planning.
