Hi. I have been in Florida since 1979 when I first attended FIT in Melbourne. I received a BS in marine science from that school and later a MS in Fisheries from Texas A&M University. I have previously done a number of jobs including teaching high school, training marine mammals, studying estuarine fish such as spotted seatrout and sturgeon and over the past 15 years, large scale wetland restoration in the Everglades. I worked for the US Army Corps of Engineers for 8 years and then the last 8 with US Fish and Wildlife Service. Lately, Lately I have shifted focus to climate change and am part of the local FWS team. I am a board member of a small marine conservation nonprofit that focuses on sea turtle conservation called Inwater Research Group, Inc. My primary hobbies are fishing, diving, canoeing, and reading.
