Event Description

The Southeast Florida Regional Climate Change Compact, is hosting the Regional Climate Action Plan Implementation Workshop: Reducing Climate Risk and Creating Economic Opportunity on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Florida International University in Miami.

As part of a continuing series of workshops designed to advance implementation of the Southeast Florida Regional Climate Action Plan, this workshop is designed specifically for city managers, budget and finance managers, risk management professionals, planners as well as those concerned with the financial risk and economic opportunities for local governments due to climate change. 

Please register as soon as possible as all previous Compact workshops have had a waiting list. This half-day event will be held at the Graham Center on FIU's Miami campus. (Due to the popularity of these events, we cannot accommodate walk-ins, so registration is a must.)

The workshop is designed to educate through panel discussions, as well as provide an opportunity to interact with experts as well as connect with regional local government peers.

The cost to attend this event is a nominal fee of $10.
