Prescribed Fire for Wildlife
The Florida Chapter of the Wildlife Society is once again a co-sponsor for an upcoming training session for land managers and wildlife stewards. This session will focus on wildlife habitat management opportunities associated with prescribed fire in Florida. Additional co-sponsors include Tall Timbers Research Station and The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Tall Timbers will host the “PRESCRIBED FIRE FOR WILDLIFE” training session at their facility conveniently located in the heart of the Red Hills between Tallahassee, Florida and Thomasville, Georgia. The training session will be held October 25-28, 2016 at the E. V. Komarek Science Education Center, 3093 Henry Beadel Drive, Tallahassee, Florida 32312.
