Event Description

The National Conservation Training Center of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will host a training to explore how modeling and other analytical approaches can be used to help manage threatened and endangered animal populations.  The training will focus on developing modeling skills, estimating vital rates, modeling population dynamics, and interpreting model outcomes.  The goal of the training is to familiarize biologists with modeling techniques frequently used in population viability analysis as well as evaluating recovery criteria and management/policy alternatives.
