The AAAS Annual Meeting is interdisciplinary and inclusive—all members of the science and technology community are welcome to join us.
What happens at the Annual Meeting?
Every year, thousands of leading scientists, engineers, educators, policymakers, and journalists gather from around the world to discuss recent developments in science and technology. The meeting includes symposia, career development workshops, an international Exhibit Hall, poster sessions, Family Science Days, and more. The program schedule will be available in October 2014. The Annual Meeting is also an opportunity to network with your colleagues and with leaders in the science and technology community.
To qualify for reduced rates, members are required to indicate their membership number; postdocs and teachers are required to provide their institution and chair or principal investigator’s name; students are required to indicate their institution’s name and graduation year; and emeritus members are required to indicate their retirement year and institution.
The Annual Meeting provides many opportunities for students enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program. Present in the Student Poster Competition to get feedback on your research from leading scientists and engineers. Register to attend the meeting for a reduced student rate or serve as a session aide to receive free registration and an online subscription to Science.
The one-day passport includes unlimited access to all symposia, seminars, topical lectures, plenary events, workshops, and the International Exhibit Hall for one day only.
